If you're a fan of Sam Peckinpah's The Wild Bunch, widely regarded as one of the greatest Westerns ever made - if not the greatest - and, indeed, one of American cinema's finest movies, then do check out this terrific book.

W. K. Stratton's account of the making of the film is a great read and definitely one of my books of the year.
