Well, it's one way to do it...

When a picture speaks for itself...


Yeah, I know, sheer genius. This brilliant marketing ploy was the brainchild of the BooneOakley ad agency and Star Med Healthcare, based in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was in answer to the concern voiced by local employers and public health officials who were constantly searching for ways to encourage more people to get vaccinated against Covid-19.


The catch is that the Wilmore Funeral Home does not exist. It was the name thought up by the agency. Visiting the website takes visitors to a page instructing them to do the opposite of what's written on the truck, via the message: "Get vaccinated now. If not, see you soon."



The idea seems to have worked. The area has seen a 22% update in vaccination appointment rates over the previous week.


Brilliant.
