Where was the tomb discovered by Howard Carter in 1922...?
The above was a question pitched to the celebrity contestants during an
episode of Richard Osman's House of Games TV show.
As it was on the Dave channel, it wasn't new, but even so...
The answer, according to Kate Williams, one of the media's leading
go-to historians, was...well, see for yourself (I sh*t you not):
Yes, she knew the discovery was Tutankhamun's tomb.
But my question is this: as an historian, for God's sake,
how the hell could she not know where Egypt was on a map of Africa?
Oh, and her blue dot? I'm glad you asked. That's in Mali.
