You can't keep a good man down....

A sad occasion on Thursday evening with the final edition of The Late Show

with Stephen Colbert being broadcast on the CBS network, which caved in to

the demands of the Orange Monstrosity, who, as The Boss, Bruce Springsteen,

stated on his appearance on the show, can't take a joke, and who, it's said,

wanted Colbert taken off air, otherwise he wouldn't allow the Skydance merger

with Paramount (CBS's parent company) to go ahead.

But, as it turned out, Colbert definitely had the last laugh, thanks to his podcast the following evening, which showed him hosting one of the funniest shows ever to appear on YouTube.

And yes, that is the actor Jeff Daniels in the baseball cap.

It'd be nigh on impossible to describe the show or its content so I'm not even going to try.

All I can say is that if you're a Colbert fan you won't be disappointed.
