As The Boss was just honoured by President Barack Obama - alongside a host of notable names, including Tom Hanks, Robert De Niro, Michael Jordan, Diana Ross, Bill Gates and Ellen Degeneres - by being awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honour that can be bestowed in the US.

That and Number 1 in the bestseller lists...

Not a bad end to the year....
